Comic-con had filled the San Diego Convention Center to capacity in 2010 with more than 130,000 attendees from all ages and participants from all over the world. This includes media companies such as movie studios and TV networks. Comic book dealers and collectible merchants are a staple of the convention since it began in the 1970s.
