Choosing The Right Trade Show Display

Choosing The Right Trade Show Display Banner

So, you’ve made the big decision that your company will be exhibiting at a trade show for the first time. First of all, congratulations on choosing to join the ranks of hundreds of thousands of the most successful companies in nearly every industry. We’re sure that you won’t regret your decision. Just pay attention to the details and take it easy your first time around.

After the excitement of this new commitment wanes, you may find yourself a little apprehensive. For first time exhibitors, the amount of logistical details that need to be worked out to ensure a successful exhibition can be a bit daunting. And it all starts with that important first question: What kind of trade show display do I need?

Well, we’re here to try to answer that question for all you first-timers, starting from the simplest and moving up to some slightly more complex models. So, let’s get started with the most basic of trade show setups. That would be table displays. Table displays are basically a more visually appealing version of those three-paneled stand-up poster boards you might remember from science fairs and the like.

Typically the table displays that are used at trade shows will utilize a structure of some sort and be covered in tension fabric which is printed with your graphics and marketing materials. The whole display can then be set on a table (which is typically covered with a throw). These are the starter sets of trade show displays and if you want to keep it very simple then this is where you should begin.

However, we highly recommend that you invest in a simple standalone display. Pop up displays are where most companies will start and they make up a good portion of all displays at a trade show. Pop up displays provide more space to display your graphics and marketing materials. They also provide a more interesting space as opposed to table displays which don’t really offer the opportunity to create an interesting area for talking to attendees about your company. They are essentially a free-standing wall although this description doesn’t do the best pop up displays justice.
