What sets the San Diego Convention Center apart from the rest? Besides the stellar staff, it has won numerous awards and is within walking distance to four hotels. And speaking of walking, San Diego was named one of the Top 25 Most Walkable US Cities by the American Podiatric Medical Association. Let’s take a look what all these trade shows in San Diego have to offer.

It’s main draw is its location, only 10 minutes from the airport with stunning ocean views. How can you resist a waterfront view? This waterfront position holds a high level of significance – San Diego is a hub of international trade and business because of its location, so why wouldn’t you choose to exhibit at the San Diego Convention Center? What’s more, it’s also known for its tech-based industries representing fields like computer software, biotechnology, and telecommunications. If this is your industry, you need to get your booth to one of their shows!.

The facility offers an ample amount of space, whatever your needs are. Over 500,000 square feet of their space for exhibitors is customizable, dividing into seven halls of different sizes to accommodate events of all sizes. Show off your exhibit design in the architecturally stunning Sails Pavilion, a 90,000 square foot glass-enclosed, column-free space that offers the best in lighting, cooling, and heating for an enjoyable exhibitor experience.

A selection of meeting rooms open out to terraces, allowing you to take in that gorgeous bay view. The meeting rooms are a treat to get to since they are accessible via glass corridors. Just like San Diego, its convention center incorporates the sun. Just because you are visiting the convention center, it doesn’t mean you can’t enjoy soaking in the rays like the tourists!

The staff will take care of you from the moment you sign on until the day you pack up your booth. They can help you with everything – booking conventions, reserving hotel room blocks, site visits, and even concierge services, to name a few. They want you to turn to them for any of your needs to make your experience a pleasant one.

Another service offered is called Smart City, San Diego Convention Center’s telecommunication and technology service. Not only is it exclusive to the center itself, it is the largest provider of convention telecommunications and technology services in the US. Here, attendees and exhibitors are treated to high-speed Internet access in all areas of the facility. The gigabit backbone provides lightning fast speeds for even the most high-tech of events. Every last meeting room and exhibit hall can be networked with offices or hotel rooms to expand the event even further. Smart City can also create a customized system based on your needs!
