Reasons to Attend and Exhibit at a Dallas Trade Show

Dallas is a city full of entertainment, life, and more. There is much to see and do, or you can be completely satisfied hanging out at your trade show hotel and dining in luxury on your own. No matter what you decide to do, you’re bound to have a great time.

But what is it about Dallas that makes it a place you might want to exhibit for a trade show? Of all the locations you should choose, what sets Dallas apart? One of the things here is the sheer number of people. Not only will you have travelers that come in to see the trade shows and expos, but the local population also comes out to support the shows as well.

With more than 1 million in population and a cityscape of 343 square miles, the options are virtually endless. The city is friendly and sophisticated with enjoyable downtown sites, a variety of attractions, and plenty of cuisine to go around. This city is the top-rated visitor destination in all of Texas.

Did you know that Dallas is the largest metropolitan area that is not on a navigable body of water? There is a reason it continues to grow. And if that’s not enough, consider that Dallas was the home of the first-ever frozen margarita machine. If you’re up for drinks with friends, you can check out the Margarita Mile for your evening entertainment!

The weather in Dallas is typically enjoyable. You will have some Texas heat in the summers and maybe some cold in the winters, but it likely won’t be anything extreme or miserable either way.

There are two major airports that come into Dallas and they are easy-to-access locations. In total, Dallas actually has 15 different airports, although some of them are private jet facilities. There is plenty of transportation throughout the city, including buses, taxis, Uber, Lyft, and other services.

You can plan a full day of activities or narrow it down to a few top picks to enjoy while you’re there. Hit up some museums, visit the Pioneer Plaza, see Dallas from the top of the Reunion Tower, shop in the different retail areas, and get a feel for Western life at the Southfork Ranch. What you do is up to you!

Did we mention the food? Be sure to check out the Visit Dallas website to get a better feel for restaurants in a specific location. In each district of Dallas, there are tons of options. This includes categories like Texas BBQ, American food, Italian, sandwiches, Japanese, cafes, Mexican, Cajun, Chinese, Tex-Mex, Vietnamese, and more.

You’ll likely get a big Texas welcome wherever you decide to go while you’re here. And your trade show exhibit is likely to be successful and get in front of plenty of people!
