Dermatology Education Foundation Graces the Las Vegas Trade Show Exhibits 2017 Banner

Every year, the Dermatology Education Foundation stages an annual convention that brings in all the dermatology practitioners to meet together and share their passion that will change the face of dermatological medicine. This year, the Las Vegas Trade Show Exhibits 2017 will feature the passion of dermatologist across the nation in improving dermatology patients through NP and PA education and training.

The DERM Conference 2017 is slated on Thursday, July 20, 2017, up to July 23, Sunday, to be hosted by the lovely Wynn Las Vegas, Nevada. Joe Gorelick, MSN, FNP-C, Program Founder and Chairman of Dermatology Education Foundation, will be the guest of honor and will be addressing the college of doctors attending the said event.

Dermatology Education Foundation is a 501(c)3 organization which proudly introduces the return of Clinically Relevant and Practical Case-Based Dermatology NP and PA CME Education Experience. Registration opens from 12:00NN on July 20th, at the Registration Desk 2, while CME General Session begins at 12:30 PM, located at Mouton.

Lunch will be served to start 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM for the National Psoriasis Foundation (NPF) Allied Healthcare Provider Psoriasis Recognition Program (A-PReP) during the CME Satellite Luncheon Symposium. Welcome remarks by Joe Gorelick will be addressed to the attendees at 1:00 PM.

Dr. Jennifer Soung from Santa Ana, CA will be giving the first talk of the day with an Overview of the Epidemiology, Pathophysiology, and Types of Psoriasis. Dr. Soung will be followed by Dr. Paul Yamauchi who will tackle Comorbidities: Depression, Cancer, and Cardiometabolic; then, by Dr. April Armstrong with the topic on Psoriatic Arthritis: Collaboration with Rheumatology, Co-Management of Care.

Dr. Soung will also give a short exposition on Topical and Phototherapy later in the mid-afternoon session, as well as Dr. Armstrong on Oral Therapies: Including New and Emerging Drugs. Dr. Yamauchi will be returning to the podium to cap off the symposium on Current and Emerging Biologics as well as Complex Cases.

A whole one-hour session is open for a roundtable discussion with the resource speakers as well as guest specialists, Dr. Gorelick, Dr. Leon Kircik, and Dr. Kristine Kucera, to be joined on the panel by Dr. April Armstrong, and Dr. Wendy Cantrell. They will have a discourse on Biologic Bootcamp: Clinical Integration and Management.

The Continuing Medical Education or CME General Session concludes by 6:00 PM to be immediately followed by the DERM2017 Industry Appreciation Welcome Reception inside the Exhibit Hall located at Margaux.

The following days after the opening sessions, registration starts as early as 7:00 AM with Breakfast Product Theater sessions from 7:30 AM to 9:00 AM. Coffee and Refreshments are going to be stationed at the Exhibit Hall in Margaux. Renowned experts in the field will be gracing the second day of the session such as Dr. George Keough, Dr. Leon Kircik, and Dr. Ted Rosen in the morning; while Dr. Julie Harper, Dr. James Del Russo, Dr. Linda Stein Gold and Dr. Diane Thiboutot in the afternoon sessions. Dr. Joe Gorelick and Dr. Julie Harper will be at the poster highlights discussion before the CME General Session ends at 5:00 PM. A networking event will be something to look forward to during the evening located at Intrigue in the Wynn.
