Summertime is here and that means that people are out and about enjoying the beautiful weather. What does this mean for your company? Well, it means that if you want to more effectively reach your customers and market your brand, you need to be out there as well! So, in the spirit of the warmer weather and the longer days, here are a few tips for exhibiting outdoors in public during the summertime.
We have been talking quite a bit about exhibiting outside of the air conditioned trade show floor these days and there’s a reason for that. It’s a good idea! So, without further ado, let’s discuss how you can tailor your exhibit design and exhibiting tactics to best serve you when in the out of doors.
For starters, we recommend taking cues from the summertime colors that are prevalent in nature. This means that your exhibit design should either mimic the more vibrant greens of the plant life or reds, blues and yellows of the flowers and sky, or attempt to contrast against it by bringing in a color scheme that uses high contrast but less color. For more appeal, consider making your portable booth an oasis of sorts for passersby on a hot day. You could integrate fans and misters and even offer free iced drinks.
Definitely make sure that you take advantage of the convenience and adaptability of one of our portable booth designs in order to make your exhibiting experience a positive one and not more of a hassle than it needs to be. Many portable exhibits can even be customized to integrate their own power source for those times when you can’t be near an outlet as well.
Since you will be outside with all of the many people out and about this summer, you should also make sure that you have a way for individuals to get involved and interact with your exhibit. Giveaways are a great way to attract people, but it is also a great idea to hire someone to run a demonstration or even a contest or performance with volunteers. If you don’t want to rely on talent, you can rely on technology and use interactive kiosks to draw interest although this may be less effective outdoors than inside.
