If you aren’t one of those Fortune 500 companies with a massive marketing and promotion budget that can just throw money at your next trade show, then you may have to think outside of the box in order to get the most out of your trade show presence. And when we say think outside of the box in regards to trade shows, we’re talking about looking into either exhibit rentals or purchasing used exhibits as opposed to new displays.
The advantages of both exhibit rentals and utilizing the features of used exhibits are several-fold. But, each has its unique benefits as well. The choice depends on what your ultimate goal is and, crucially, how often you will be exhibiting over the next few years.
For companies that do not exhibit at many events or trade shows, looking into exhibit rentals is probably the smartest way to go. The reason for this is that renting your next exhibit will allow you get exactly what you need when you need it and only pay for the time that you have the exhibit.
Unlike when purchasing new or used exhibits, utilizing a rental display allows you to forego expensive storage and management costs that often aren’t worth it if you only exhibit very infrequently. If you have no plans to exhibit at another event or trade show, then rental exhibits are likely the way to go.
On the other hand, if you are looking to save money compared to purchasing a new trade show display, but would prefer to own your own display in order to establish a measure of stability in your trade show assets you should take a serious look at used exhibits.
These days, materials have advanced to such a degree that a used exhibit that has been taken care of and properly refurbished can often look nearly as good as a brand new exhibit. And you save money on the exhibit as well. The key advantage of owning your exhibit is that you can make modifications and upgrades to your liking. You can also customize the exhibit to a greater degree than with exhibit rentals.
Both renting exhibits and purchasing used exhibits can provide advantages in terms of flexibility and, of course, the expected cost savings. For more information, contact us at Blazer Exhibits & Events.
